7th Donation for Harambee Gwassi-Kenya Project

Ecco la ricevuta del 7° Versamento annuale per scuole IKSDP Harambee: 1000 €uro raccolti in quest'anno di lavoro in Second Life, con l'aiuto di tanti amici e gruppi partner del progetto, che ci aiutano a continuare con passione le notre attività!
Dal 2010 sono stati donati 7700 Euro alla fondazione Brownsea: utilizzati prima per ricostruire la scuola di Kitawa e successivamente per le altre attività educative legate alle scuole IKSDP e al College. Nel corso dell'anno si sono alternate sfilate di moda, Concerti Live o animati da DJ, mostre d'Arte, Eventi culturali e Cacce al Tesoro, con notevoli donazioni per ogni evento. A questo va aggiunto il ricavato delle vendite nel nostro 'Harambee Gwassi-Kenya Charity Shop' e nel MarketPlace, dove abbiamo tre negozi. Ogni evento inoltre contribuisce a farci conoscere toccando un vasto numero di persone, che così sostengono le attività del progetto anche direttamente, tramite versamenti bancari e la donazione del 5 x 1000 nella dichiarazione dei redditi.

** At the end of December 2016 we donated 1000 euros, 7th annual for IKSDP-Harambee Project no-profit Association: another goal reached which brings us to continue with passion to raise additional funds.
The fundamental resource is the constant collaboration with Italian and foreign friends, groups and land-partners that support us organizing artistic and cultural events. During the year they have alternated Fashion Shows, Live concerts and DJ sets, Art Exhibits, cultural events and Treasure Hunts, with significant donations for each event. To this must be added the proceeds of sales in our 'Harambee Gwassi-Kenya Charity Shop' and the MarketPlace, where we have three shops. Each event also helps us learn by touching a vast number of people, so that support the project activities directly, through bank transfers.

Ecco il 6° Versamento annuale per scuole IKSDP Harambee: 1250 €uro raccolti in un anno di lavoro in Second Life, pieno di emozioni e di amici stretti stretti, italiani e stranieri che ci spingono a ripartire con passione per il 2016!
Dal 2010 sono stati versati 6700 Euro alla fondazione Brownsea, utilizzati per ricostruire la scuola di Kitawa e successivamente per altre attività educative: attualmente l'obiettivo è migliorare la Biblioteca per bambini e ragazzi.

Un altro obiettivo raggiunto grazie alla costante collaborazione di gruppi e land Partner che ci sostengono organizzando eventi artistici e culturali. Nel corso dell'anno si sono susseguite Sfilate di moda, Concerti Live o animati da DJ, serate a tema, Mostre d'Arte, Eventi culturali e Cacce al Tesoro, attirando molto pubblico e tanti amici fedeli, con notevoli donazioni per ogni evento. A questo va aggiunto il ricavato dalle vendite nel mercato Harambee di 'Bunny isles e nel MarketPlace, dove abbiamo tre negozi.
Senza contare l'informazione che viene diffusa su un vasto numero di persone, che così sostengono le attività del progetto anche direttamente, tramite versamenti bancari e la donazione del 5 x 1000 nella dichiarazione dei redditi.

During the year follow each other Fashion Shows, Concerts Live or animated by DJs, theme nights, Art Exhibits, Cultural events and Treasure Hunts attracting much public and many true friends, with significant donations for each evening.Since 2010 have been paid 6.700 euros to the Brownsea NGO Foundation, used to reconstruct the Kitawa schools and then for other educational activities that go with success! Currently aim is to improve the Library for children and students.
To this must be added the proceeds from the sales in the market of Harambee 'Bunny isles and in MarketPlace, where we have three stores. In addition the project information is disseminated on a large number of people, so that support the activities of the project directly, through bank transfers and the donation of 5 x 1000 in the Italian tax return.

Abbiamo inviato la richiesta per essere inseriti nella Destination Guide di Second Life: qui vedete il nuovo Logo di Bunny Isles for Kenya e qui di seguito la nuova presentazione della nostra Isola. Appena verremo accettati, vi chiederemo di sostenerci con moltissimi 'Mi piace'!!!

Esplorate 'Bunny Isles for Kenya', una spiaggia accogliente sulle rive del lago Vittoria, dove dal 2008  si svolge il progetto ONLUS 'Brownsea Gwassi-Kenya'.
Una grande comunità sostenuta da numerosi gruppi e terre-Partners, costruisce e vende nel nostro Centro Commerciale e organizza corsi, eventi Musicali e Artistici con l'obiettivo di finanziare le scuole Harambee della regione Gwassi (Kenya). I Contributi virtuali diventano così aiuti reali!

L'obiettivo del nostro lavoro è quello di aumentare la consapevolezza della collaborazione instaurata in questi ultimi anni in Second Life e diffondere la conoscenza del nostro progetto di autosviluppo Harambee, che oggi è considerato il modello vincente per lo Scoutismo africano. Organizziamo anche convegni per vedere da vicino le attività dei nostri amici Kenyani: foto, filmati e letture di fiabe tradizionali e leggende che abbiamo portato dalla Real Life di SL (lavoriamo come volontari nella Fondazione Brownsea ONLUS dal 1999).

The goal of our actions is also to raise awareness of the collaboration established in recent years, in Second Life and to disseminate knowledge of our self-development Harambee project, which is considered today the winning model for the African Scouting. We often organize conferences to see the work of our Kenyan friends closer: photos, movies, and readings of traditional fairy tales and legends that we brought from the Real Life to SL (we work as volunteers in the Brownsea NGO since 1999).

I festeggiamenti e le esposizioni per il 10° compleanno di Second Life si rivelano ogni giorno più piacevoli e interessanti: una grande opportunità per ritrovare tutti gli amici, ma sopratutto per fare nuove conoscenze, far conoscere il Progetto "Harambee Gwassi-Kenya" a un pubblico più vasto ... e anche un ottimo motivo per documentare questi giorni in modo diverso.

☆ Il primo video è stato realizzato dagli amici di Pyramid Café TV con il Trailer: Italian Projects @ SL10B che propone una panoramica sulla presenza italiana: l'importante esperienza di 2Lei, un progetto collaborativo che promuove eventi volti a sensibilizzare sempre più persone sui temi riguardanti la violenza sulle donne nel mondo; seguono artisti digitali di grande rilevanza, come Giovanna Cerise con l'installazione immersiva "Light and shadow", Solkide Auer con la sua Storia in SL, Kicca Igaly con "Kicca Evolution", Aloisio Congrejo con "A De Chirico Virtual, impossible dream" e infine il nostro gruppo... con il Progetto dedicato alle scuole in Kenya. Un immenso ‘GRAZIE’ al gruppo Pyramid Cafè!!!

** The festivities and exhibitions for the 10th birthday of Second Life are every day more enjoyable and interesting: a great opportunity to find all your friends, but especially to make new friends, to make known the project "Harambee Gwassi-Kenya" to a wider audience ... and also a good reason to document these days in a different way.

☆  The first video was made by the Pyramid Café TV friends with the Trailer: Italian Projects @ SL10B which offers an overview of the Italian presence: the important experience of 2Lei, a collaborative project that realize projects and activities to say "No to violence against women in the world". The following are the digital artists of great importance, as Giovanna Cerise with immersive installation "Light and shadow", Solkide Auer with its History in SL, Kicca Igaly with "Kicca Evolution", Aloisio Congrejo with "A Virtual De Chirico, impossible dream", and finally our group ... with the Project for Kenyan Schools . A huge 'THANK YOU' to the group Pyramid Cafe!
